I have just started to get into Angoras. After 10 years of raising and showing Holland Lops, working on bettering the breed in the rare colors, I have come a long way and reached the goals I set out with. As of late, it's become clear that the HLRSC is not looking to move forward into fixing the color standard for the breed nor promoting the colors. The Hollands, while my pride and joy, have turned from "fun" to "work". In order to put some fun back into the mix, I decided to dabble with some French Angoras. I recently got into crocheting and in that wanted some real Angora yarn. I found Lisa from Somerhill Farm and purchased some. My curiousity in these fun critters grew, and she helped me find some of my own to start with with the help from Vici of Celtic Hare Rabbitry and Tina from Nutty Buckeye Rabbitry. The dabbleing turned into a love for this furry friends and I made the move to sell out of my Hollands to concentrate soley on Angoras.

I HAVE DECIDED TO GO WITH SATIN ANGORAS, BOTH OF THESE ARE FOR SALE

Celtic Hare Aiden
Blue Tort Sr. Buck
Celtic Hare Brendan x Celtic Hare Cici Monn

He is really sweet, except, he chewed through my camera USB cord. Luckily, I have a spare. He is quite the inquisitive guy. $30

Celtic Hare BonnyLass
Lilac Sr. Doe
Celtic Hare Talisman x Celtic Hare Irish Cocca

She's shy and I hope she warms up to me. I cannot stand it how there is a missed pun in her name, I call her BunnyLass all the time! I plucked her right when i got her because she was loosing her coat, which was still a baby fluff sort of thing. As you can see, already she has a nice full coat back in. When I got her she was small and very rough on the hindquarters and now she feels full and has gained weight, filling out. Nice texture and density to the wool and it spins well! $50 show/brood/wooler
